A Transformative Term 2 of Growth and Achievement
Term 2 unfolded as a dynamic tapestry of progress and innovation. Our first-ever TEDx ignited thought leadership, while the long-awaited revival of DS MUN after five years rekindled the spirit of global discourse. The entrepreneurial minds of our Secondary students flourished through hands-on initiatives such as BIZ-Ignite (Enterprise Day), while the Curiosity Carnival challenged our Primary students to think critically and present their learnings to the entire DS Community.
This term was further enriched by vibrant learning experiences in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), where field trips and meaningful parent collaborations sparked curiosity and ignited a passion for discovery among our youngest learners.
Beyond the classroom, the school came alive with enriching experiences — Sports Days, concerts, field trips, and the Scholars Fiesta fostered a spirit of celebration and camaraderie. World Book Day and the Math-a-Thon inspired a love for literature and numeracy, while DS Got Talent 3.0 and Open Mic provided a spectacular platform for artistic expression.
The Annual Career Fair and Career Guidance Orientations for Years 8 and 11 equipped students with essential insights, paving their paths toward future aspirations.
One of the most inspiring highlights was DS Champions Fest — a remarkable celebration of triumph, inclusion, and sportsmanship, where students of determination from over ten schools came together for a day filled with exhilarating sports, heartfelt camaraderie, and powerful displays of resilience.
Dubai Scholars also launched its inaugural Champions League (Football) — a thrilling tournament led by Sixth Form students, who took charge of organising a competition that showcased teamwork, sportsmanship, and excellence beyond the classroom.
During Ramadan, our Charity Campaign and Ramadan Chronicles instilled values of compassion and social responsibility, while the first edition of The DS Student Creative Corner spotlighted the brilliance and ingenuity of our learners.
